The award for the furthest travelled participant on the 2026 event went to Robert Egger, who made a long (and slow!) journey to the Welland Valley Wander in the little 1938 Morris 8 series II from deepest Norfolk. A long-time supporter of the event, he has driven on the tour on eleven occasions, finishing every one and then driving back to Garboldisham, near Diss.
